Orthodox Calendar ("the app") is developed by Bojan Mihovilović ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data, and there are no accounts, ads, or tracking.
None. The app has no user accounts and does not require any sign-in. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you, and we do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
The app requests permission to read and write your device's calendar
(READ_CALENDAR / WRITE_CALENDAR). This is used solely so
that you can add a feast or commemoration to your own calendar as a reminder, and
only when you explicitly choose to do so. Calendar events are created on your device
through the system calendar. We never read, collect, upload, or transmit your
calendar data, and the app does not access your calendar in the background.
The app uses the internet (INTERNET permission) only to download
calendar data for years that are not already bundled in the app. These requests
fetch read-only liturgical calendar files from our hosting service. No personal
information is sent with these requests, and the data is cached on your device so
it remains available offline afterward. The current year's data is bundled in the
app and works with no internet connection at all.
Your app settings (such as chosen language and theme) and any calendar data downloaded for offline use are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
We do not share any information with third parties, because we do not collect any. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software development kits.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
